Cos'è il consensus SOSORT
Durante il primo incontro di Barcellona (2004), mentre ancora si discuteva se fosse meglio fare di SOSORT un gruppo di studio o una Società Scientifica (e fu in un primo momento deciso di fare un gruppo di studio) e ogni quanto SOSORT dovesse incontrarsi (ogni uno o due anni), si decise di iniziare con un incontro scientifico biennale. Dal momento che già si sentiva una forte necessità di incontrarsi annualmente, si decise di avere un incontro, tra i due scientifici, dedicato ad accrescere la conoscenza e un background comune per SOSORT. Per questa ragione, si è pensato che fosse una buona strategia mettere a confronto le diverse pratiche cliniche dei partecipanti, e a Milano prima si è svolto il primo Meeting per il Consenso, sviluppando tre temi fondamentali: corsetti, esercizi e gli obiettivi del trattamento. Dopo il successo della riunione di Milano (2005), si è deciso di mantenere i consensus come iniziativa chiave di SOSORT e, dopo aver creato la società scientifica, e avendo deciso di fare annualmente un incontro scientifico, è stato deciso fare anche uno o due consensus ogni anno.
